Mexa.PT is a living place built around the relationship between movement, people and place. Its kitchen functions as social infrastructure, using food as an entry point to movement, while Moradas em Quietude provide intimate sojourner households where people can temporarily inhabit the territory on their own terms.

Horta do Mundo connects food, agriculture and landscape; Atelier das Mãos creates a space for making, experimenting and transforming materials; Laboratório de Narrativas e Som supports photography, film, sound, music and professional creative production; and Arquivo Vivo brings together physical and digital knowledge, oral histories, images, objects, maps, and stories.

Together, these spaces form a living laboratory where sojourners, local communities, creatives, heritage professionals and other practitioners can live, work, create, exchange knowledge and develop new ways of understanding place.
